Harvest Raleigh had their first night of VBS! Over 30 students were there, which is a great success for a church their size. Harvest Palos youth did a great job of leading the worship portion of the night, as well as leading games and helping with the crafts, snacks, and missions. During the day we spent time at the mall handing out more invitations (which we were told we are no longer allowed to do) as well as making sure that the first night would go smoothly.
Many students indicated that they had need for a Bible, so we are looking forward to providing those along with meeting other needs that they have. No crafts showed up for the craft time, so Deb and the girls worked hard yesterday and today to make sure that we had crafts planned and purchased. Devotional times have been great to have together in the mornings, and we've found some time to have some good food and a little fun.
With four days to go we are looking forward to seeing what God will do through our efforts.
Relying on Him,
The Raleigh Team
